Ok, so here was my first attempt at redesigning this old Chandelier. My best friend Barbie gave me this, when I commented about how much I loved hers. We were there for an evening cook out, she had put candles in hers and it was beautiful all lit up, flames flickering in the soft breeze of the evening. As the sun went down and the moon came out, it just made for a perfect evening....
So off to Wal-Mart I went to get spray paint... for my first Candlelier. I chose a black matte textured paint. I had to remove all the wiring, sanded it down really good, primed it with a metal primer and then painted it.

And here she is " Della" my new Candlelier.... we love it now when we're outside in the evening we light up the candles and enjoy...
Ok, so after that... I just couldn't help myself I went searching for another old chandelier. Yep you got it I found one, oh wait not one but 2 at a great estate sale. My daughter Rachal loves to haggle on the price, and of course she was successful... I'm not good at the haggling thing... So every yard/estate sale we go to I let her do the haggling... So watch for their new redesigns coming soon... along with some other great things I like to re-do...

Good Morning all... I hope you enjoyed your fourth of July. Ours was wonderful, we spent a few days up on the lake with the family... then headed to Daytona for the Coke Zero 400 with the brother and sister-in-law... Wow, what a race and a perfect few days of rest and relaxation. Busy but the fun kinda busy.
Since I'm so new to this blogging thing, this week I hope to learn how to upload photo's. Share some of the creative things I love to do. So wish me well as I begin my blogging journey. Any suggestions would be just fabulous.... have a blessed day.
